A 3rd degree black belt under Paulo “Paulão” Rezende and owner of Team Junqueira Marcelo Garcia Association Pittsburgh. Before moving to America in the early 2000's Rodrigo grew up and trained in Pocos de Caldas MG, Brasil with Mestre Rezende. Training alongside other notable Jiu Jitsu practitioners (now black belts) such as Marcelo Garcia and Gustavo de Lima Rodrigo has had the best instruction possible. Now, here in the Pittsburgh/Morgantown area, Professor Junqueira is the most accomplished Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt in the region and the only Brazilian teaching Jiu Jitsu in the area. Growing his Team stronger and stronger over the years Team Junqueira is fast becoming the "GO TO" name in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in our area. Most recently partnering with Neale Hoerle, the former owner of Anu Academy, Professor Junqueira aims to up the level of Brazilian jiu jitsu in the Morgantown area. Professor Junqueira currently oversees the training curriculum at both Team Junqueira Affiliates/Academies; HQ in Wexford - PA and now here at Team Junqueira - Morgantown WV. Professor Junqueira teaches in Morgantown up to several times per week with the balance of classes being taught by Brazilian Jiu Jitsu 1st degree black belt, Ken Willis.

Rachel came to the Academy in early 2018 as a purple belt. She has been a Jiu Jitsu practitioner since 2010, and enjoys teaching the children’s Jiu Jitsu class.
